Elizabeth M. Garcia, 80, of Clarion, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at Clarion Healthcare.

She was born on June 22, 1937, in St. Mary’s. The daughter of the late Aloysius and Alberta Benedict Sporner.

Elizabeth was married to Arthur Garcia.

She was retired from St. Mary’s Library.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, William A. Garcia of Clarion, Michael Garcia of California, Arthur Garcia of Bradford and Marion Brenner of Lancaster.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 9, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.

Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
