CHERRYTREE, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police responded to a one-vehicle crash on December 13 in Cherrytree Twp., Venango County.

Police said Ryan C. Lay, 30, of Youngstown, was traveling on State Route 417 and approaching the roadway’s intersection with State Route 8 when his vehicle exited the roadway and crashed into a ditch.

Lay’s vehicle came to a rest in a nearby grassy area.

Lay was wearing a safety belt and was not injured.

The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was removed from the scene by Shambaugh’s Towing.
