Emergency Crews Respond to Emlenton Area Rollover Crash

SCRUBGRASS TWP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police responded to a Monday morning traffic accident in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.

Police said Angela Butler, 41, was driving a 1999 Jeep Cherokee east (downhill) on State Route 208 at 8:45 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a right curve.

The vehicle traveled off the south side of the road and struck an embankment. Following impact with the embankment, the vehicle rolled onto its roof.

Butler was wearing a seatbelt, and she and one unnamed passenger were both uninjured in the accident.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Hovis towing.

Emlenton Ambulance and Emlenton Volunteer Fire Department assisted on the scene.
