Emergency Crews Respond to Possible Barn Fire in Washington Township

fire-truckWASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Area volunteer fire crews have been called to the scene of a malfunctioning wood burner inside a Washington Township barn on Thursday morning.

According to Clarion County 911, the call came in at 7:54 a.m.

A dispatcher said a wood-burning stove was sparking and smoking, but a fire hadn’t started as of the time of the call.

Crews from Washington Township, Shippenville, Farmington Township, and Pine Grove (Venango County), as well as Shippenville EMS responded.
