RICHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) The Pennsylvania State Police responded to the following traffic accidents in Richland Township.

Tractor Trailer Overturns on I-80

Andrey Lutsyuk, 53, of Tacoma, Wash., was driving a 2003 Volvo west on Interstate 80 in Richland Township when he failed to negotiate a left curve and drove off the roadway. The vehicle hit an embankment and then rolled onto its passenger side.

Lutsyuk, who was wearing a seat belt, reported minor injuries. He was cited for careless driving.

Emlenton EMS and Emlenton Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Hovis Towing removed the truck from the scene.

No Injuries Reported in I-80 Wreck

Police said a 2016 Freightliner tractor-trailer hit the rear of a 2011 Chevy Cruze at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, January 6 as both vehicles traveled west on Interstate 80 in Richland Township.

Both vehicles had damage but were driven from the scene.

Police said all parties were wearing their seatbelts and no one was injured.

The drivers were not identified.
