Emergency Crews Respond to Van Rollover on Mercer Road

MINERAL TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Emergency crews responded to a van rollover crash early Wednesday morning in Mineral Township, Mercer County.

Franklin-based State Police said the accident happened around 12:59 a.m. when a westbound vehicle operated by John A. McVay, 35, of Kennerdell, veered into the eastbound and collided with a guide rail.

After impact, McVay’s 2004 Chevrolet Express rolled onto its passenger side causing disabling damage.

McVay was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

Polk Volunteer Fire Department and Community Ambulance assisted at the scene.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Lowry’s Towing.
