Emlenton Man Flees Crash Scene, Facing Several Charges

BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — According to sources, an Emlenton man flees the scene of a one-vehicle accident in Bruin Boro, Butler County, Pa.

Butler-based State Police say 32-year-old Gilbert Smith of Emlenton, Pa., fled the scene of an accident on Saturday night in Bruin Boro.

According to police, Smith was traveling southwest on School Street near Annisville Road when he lost control of his vehicle, ran off the roadway, and hit a tree.

Smith fled the accident scene before police arrived.

Smith has been charged with failure to control his vehicle, driving under suspension, driving without insurance or valid registration, and several other related charges.
