Emlenton Woman Escapes Injury in One-Vehicle Crash

ALLEGHENY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A 20-year-old Emlenton woman escaped injury in a one-vehicle crash Friday in Allegheny Township, Butler County.

Clarion-based State Police say the accident happened around 6:50 a.m. on Interstate 80 eastbound when Tiffany L. Bundy lost control of her 1997 Ford Escort due to icy road conditions.

Police say Bundy was traveling near mile marker 43 when she lost control of her vehicle and steered towards the guide rail to avoid traffic.

Her vehicle crashed into the guide rail and spun 180 degrees before impacting the guide rail a second time.

After the second impact, Bundy’s vehicle spun 180 degrees and came to a rest in the left lane facing east.

Bundy was not injured in the accident.

State Police were assisted at the scene by Emlenton EMS, Emlenton VFD and Hovis Towing·
