Ernest W. Hogue, 74, of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, May 29, at 7:14 a.m. at Sugar Creek Station in Franklin.

Born January 21, 1942, in Franklin, Ernest was the son of Ernest T. and Ella Dunlap Hogue. He worked as a jack of all trades at Witherup Fab and Erection, Inc. In his spare time, Ernest enjoyed gardening, hunting, repairing vehicles, and spending time in the outdoors.

Ernest is survived by his sister, Patricia Tidd, and her husband, Robert, of Franklin. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Christopher Hogue; and his sisters, Betty Hogue and Mary Kriebel.

Per the family’s request, no services will be held. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street in Franklin.
