The Haunted Woods Trail
Where: Wolf’s Camping Resort, Knox, Pa.
When: Friday and Saturday nights beginning September 27, 8:00 p.m.
Additional Info: $5 per person.

C93 Halloween Parade
Where: Clarion Mall
When: October 23, 6:30 p.m.
Additional Info: Businesses encouraged to participate. There have been approximately 200-300 children participate in the past.

Phantom Night III Piano Concert & Costume Party
Where: Lincoln Hall
When: October 25, 7:00 p.m.
Additional Info: Charlie Chaplin Silent Movies and Tom Roberts on Piano. You will not want miss celebrating Halloween with an evening of extraordinary music accompanying CHARLIE CHAPLIN SILENT MOVIES. Tom Roberts, Pianist and Arranger, will be at the Steinway performing his own music written to accompany these Charlie Chaplin movies. Cost. Adults $15, Adults $10 at the door in costume, Students $5, and children under 6 free.

Cathedral by Candlelight
Where: Forest Cathedral in Cook Forest
When: October 31, 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Additional Info: Want to experience something different this year for Halloween instead of the standard “trick-or-treaters”? Walk back in time into the depths of the Forest Cathedral with an historical character from the past. View the ancient forest as you walk beneath the giants by candlelight. Either a French Marine from the 1750’s who saw these massive trees 250 years ago, or a lumberman from the 1800’s will be there to guide you. Candy and hot chocolate will be served. Bring your flashlights!

NOMaD Live Band Halloween Party
Where: Holiday Inn Courtyard
When: November 1, 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Additional Info: Ellwood City-based country band NOMaD which stands for North of Mason-Dixon known for its hard-rocking country style might be on its way to a big national break. The band recently won a national song contest and a $25,000 prize to boot. They always rock the house! Wear Your Best Costume! Prizes to Top 3 costumes! Nightmare Lane Haunted Hayride
Where: Moonlite Drive-In, Brookville, Pa.
When: Friday and Saturdays starting October 17 through November 1
Additional Info: Come out to the Moonlight Drive-In Theater every Friday and Saturday night in October and enjoy a haunted hayride through dastardly terrain–come get scared to death if you DARE! After the hayride on family night weekend there will be a kid friendly feature. The other 3 weekends there will be a special Halloween viewing of very scary movies on the big screen. There will be food available at the concession stand.

Halloween Half, 5K and Bike Race
Where: Farmer’s Inn, Sigel, PA.
When: October 26, 9:00 a.m.
Additional Info: This race will be chip timed. Certified course with mile markers. Trophies to all finishers of the half-marathon. Full course buffet meal for all entrants. Seven age groups. Awards to top three overall male and female in each race. Tee shirts guaranteed to all pre-registered and will be available while the supply lasts on race day.

Two days of Conformation, Jr. Showmanship, Obedience Fun Matches and a Novice Puppy Fun Match PLUS a Howl-loween Costume Contest immediately following the conclusion of the Saturday Fun Match. Open to ALL DOGS, purebred or mixed. Two classes: Dog(s) in Costume and Dog(s) and Owner in Costume.

Kids Halloween Event
Where: Robert W. Rhodes Gymnasium
When: October 25, 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Additional Info: Hosted by Venango College’s Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society. The event is for children ages 3 to 10. There will be crafts, games, and candy. The event is free and open to the public. Phi Theta Kappa is asking for participants to take a donation of a canned good or non-perishable item.

Fall Festival
Where: Oakland United Methodist Church, Desmpseytown

Train of Terror “A Halloween Extravaganza”
Where: OC&T Railroad
When: October 25
Additional Info: The final Stop “A Halloween Extravaganza” • This isn’t your typical haunted House, but an entire evening of entertainment! Join In All Serousness on Halloween weekend as they work to create a “Haunted House” in the OC&T RR Depot, based on 3 “genuine” old-time Titusville Ghost Stories. Experience “The Evil Lab of Dr. Croffot” (more comedy than tragedy, as the audience gets involved in their improvisation), “The Train of the Damned” (a not-so-typical creepy haunted house feature done right on the OC&T train), and “The Legend of John Steele, the Depot Ghost” (a mini-murder mystery set in the oil-boom years that everyone solves together). It’s a full evening of mystery and laughter in the riotous and entertaining fashion that only In All Seriousness can provide. Camp Coffin Family Halloween Party
Where: Camp Coffman
When: October 24 and 25, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m..
Additional Info: The Oil City YMCA is hosting the annual Camp Coffin Family Halloween Party on Friday and Saturday October 24 and 25 from 5-9 pm each evening. The gate fee is $15 a carload. The event will feature kids carnival style games and crafts, creepy clowns and sideshow wonders. There will be horse drawn wagon rides from 5 pm to dusk and our haunted hayride from dusk to 9 pm. Concessions will be available. Please bring a flashlight and dress for the weather. All proceeds benefit YMCA Camp Coffman. Event Cost: $15 a carload

Foxburg Halloween Event with Pianist Tom Roberts
Where: Lincoln Hall, Foxburg
When: October 25, 7:00 p.m.
The Allegheny Riverstone Center for the Arts will present a Halloween event with pianist Tom Roberts at 7:00 p.m.
Lincoln Hall in Foxburg. Tickets prices are $15 for adults, $10 for costumed adults, $5 for students, and free for children under 6. Call 724-659-3153 to reserve tickets.
