CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – exploreClarion.com and exploreVenango.com were offline yesterday afternoon due to technical problems with its provider, Hostgator.

According to a press release, network issues at Hostgator’s Provo, Utah, data center triggered the outage.

The outage also affected customers of other web hosting providers including Bluehost, Hostmonster and Justhost, causing thousands of websites across the Internet to go offline.

We are currently re-evaluating our options and are prepared to make any changes deemed necessary to ensure that our sites can handle the rapid growth in traffic that we have experienced over the past 6 months.
