OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — There will be a free grant workshop for Oil City businesses in the Main Street District Thursday.

The workshop will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Oil Region Alliance Office on Elm Street. Registration by Tuesday is encouraged.

The Oil City Main Street Façade Improvement Grant can provide up to $5,000 for storefront improvements to eligible buildings located within the Main Street District.

The deadline to apply is March 3.

This free workshop will provide an overview of the grant guidelines, application/review process and reimbursement procedures, plus examples of recent projects and other helpful tools.
