FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin Civic Operetta Associations (FCOA) Youth Theatre is presenting “On the Shoulders of Giants” on Thursday, July 26, at the Barrow-Civic Theatre.

The event begins at 7:30 p.m.

Join FCOA Youth Theatre in paying tribute to leaders and heroes who have come before us and paved our way, so we can live as we do today.

Pay tribute to Ben Franklin – author, inventor, scientist, and diplomat, and learn about the contributions of Alexander Graham Bell, Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, and George Washington Carver.

Others who were statesmen, literary giants, artists, teachers, soldiers, doctors, and those who worked for civil and human rights will be highlighted — such as Martin Luther King, Gandhi, and Mandela in their march for freedom.
