Liberty Electronics in Franklin, PA has an immediate opening in their Information Technology Department for a qualified Computer Programmer/Analyst who enjoys working on diverse projects, interacting with a variety of departments, and exhibits a cheerful “can do” attitude.

Programmer/Analyst Job Duties:

• Defines project objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality.
• Designs and develops user interfaces between the end-user and the computer system according to realistic time tables, thorough testing, and accurate transactions.
• Uses a logical and analytical mindset to solve problems with efficient code, well-structured relational database methods, and accurate results.

Required Skills:

• Logical, analytical mindset, friendly and professional demeanor with colleagues and end-users, proficient use of Visual Studio, C#, .NET, MS Office, and Relational Databases such as Oracle and MS SQL Server.
• Four year degree or equivalent experience in Computer Programming with System Analysis.

Helpful skills:

• Aptitude in both hardware and software.
• Knowledge and experience with a SQL database language.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office Macros.
• A general understanding of business processes such as Accounting, Warehousing, Purchasing, Receiving, and Inventory Control.

Experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience with programming, systems analysis, and business environments is important and preferred but not required.
