Felony Forgery Charges Filed Against Oil City Man

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Police have filed felony forgery charges against a 29-year-old Oil City man.

Oil City Police say 29-year-old Mark A. Hutchinson, Jr. was taken into custody on a felony arrest warrant after he allegedly altered a government money order and cashed it for personal use.

Hutchinson was arraigned before District Judge Patrick Lowery on second degree felony charges of Forgery — Alter Writing and Receiving Stolen Property.

He was lodged in the Venango County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is set for December 2 in Venango County Central Court.
