Fire in Emlenton Area Damages Storage Building

Red FiretruckEMLENTON, Pa. (EYT) — A Sunday morning fire in Emlenton damaged a former residence converted for storage.

According to the resident, the structure at 1387 Route 38 had been their home, but when they built a new home near it, the building was converted for storage use.

Some initial reports indicated the fire was at 10-Point Taxidermy, but the resident confirmed that was not the case.

The fire started late morning, around 11:30 a.m.

According to Venango County 911, volunteer fire companies from Emlenton, Knox, Parker, Callensburg, and St. Petersburg were called as well as Knox Ambulance.

No injuries were reported.

A cause or damage estimate was not known as of early Monday morning.
