UPDATE: Firefighters Dispatched to Blaze at Salvage Yard in Cochranton

13335955_10206446067568408_7914970716948103411_nCOCHRANTON, Pa. (EYT) – Firefighters from several area departments were called to a fire at a salvage yard in Cochranton early this morning.

According to a representative from Crawford County 911, the call came in at 5:39 a.m. for a fire at Patterson Auto Wrecking located on State Route 322 in Cochranton, Pa.

Sources say the fire destroyed a building that was used to house auto parts.

Over $700,000 damage is estimated.

The following agencies assisted Cochranton Volunteer Fire Department at the scene:

– West Mead Volunteer Fire Company 2
– Greenwood Fire Department
– Meadville Central Fire Department
– Vernon Central Hose
– Cooperstown Volunteer Fire Department
– Utica Volunteer Fire Department
– Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department
– Meadville Ambulance Service

Cochranton Volunteer Fire Department cleared the scene at 8:33 a.m.

No injuries were reported.
