Firefighters from 19 Companies Respond to Blaze in Crawford County

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – According to sources, on November 24, 19 fire companies responded to a fire in a two-story building at 11563 on Route 618 in Sadsbury Township, Crawford County.

Sources say around 6:44 p.m. on November 24, Conneaut Lake Park Volunteer Fire Department responded to the fire in the former museum and country store.

Conneaut Lake Park VFD was assisted by Conneaut Lake, Summit, Vernon Central, Conneautville, Linesville, North Shenango, Fallowfield, Jamestown, Vernon Township, Hayfield, Greenwood, Cochranton, Springboro, and West Mead II volunteer fire departments; Albion Volunteer Fire Department from Erie County; Hempfield Volunteer Fire Department from Mercer County; and firefighters from Pierpont and Andover, Ohio.

Conneaut Lake Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police, and Conneaut Lake Area Ambulance Service were also at the scene.

Meadville Ambulance Service was on standby.
