First Night Oil City Festivities Set for Tonight

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) First Night Oil City activities are scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. tonight.

The festival, in its 21st year, will take place starting at 6:00 p.m. throughout Oil City.

One of the highlights of this year’s First Night will be a laser show presented by Prismatic Magic.

There will be three shows in the Social Hall of the Trinity United Methodist Church with shows at 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m.. and 9:30 p.m.

A fireworks display and a bonfire will be at 7:00 p.m., ice sculptures, and many other activities on both the Northside and Southside of the City.

There will be fireworks again at midnight.

This event is a non-alcoholic, family-oriented celebration of community arts and culture.

The parking lot at the former site of the Parking Garage (across from the Venango Museum) will be available for parking.

Helping Hand Christian Counseling will be providing transportation.
