Five Teens Charged In Franklin Break-In

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin Police have charged a Harrisville man and four Franklin juveniles in connection with a Franklin break-in.

Police responded to the 1000 block of Elk Street in Franklin for a report of a break-in at a vacant residence on May 27.

Prior to police arrival, the suspects left the scene; however, after officers conducted an investigation, five people were positively identified through property surveillance photos, according to police.

Police say the following individuals are facing charges in connection with the incident:

Bailey Palmer, 18, of Harrisville, charged with felony criminal trespass and summary criminal mischief
– Male, 14, of Franklin, charged with felony criminal trespass and summary criminal mischief
– Male, 15, of Franklin, charged with summary trespassing
– Male, 16, of Franklin, charged with summary trespassing
– Female, 15, of Franklin, charged with summary trespassing

According to online court documents, Palmer was arraigned at 11:52 a.m. on July 1 before District Judge Michael D. Snyder.

A preliminary hearing for Palmer is set for 1:30 p.m. on July 8 in Venango County Central Court.
