Army Specialist Makes Surprise Visit to West Forest

Pictured above: Army Specialist Kyle Kuntz, West Forest Class of 2015, made a surprise visit to his brothers Daniel and Colton during lunch on November 20th to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.

Kyle is home for the holiday from Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Thank you, Kyle, for your service to our country!

FCCLA Students Visit Snyder Memorial

Several East Forest FCCLA students, with their Adviser Lori Beatty, recently visited the Snyder Memorial Health Care Center to play Jeopardy with the residents and to help with nail care.

Students Visit IUP in Punxsutawney

Recently, several students visited the IUP Culinary Arts School in Punxsutawney with their Family and Consumer Science teacher, Lori Beatty.

Students Visit University of Pittsburgh-Titusville

East and West Forest students in grades 10-12 traveled to the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville Secondary Options day. Students had the opportunity to speak to representatives from various colleges, universities, technical schools, and military branches.

West Forest Students Learn CPR

Students in Mrs. Hartle’s 8th grade Health, Physical Education, and Safety class have been learning CPR.

The majority of students in grades 8 through 12 at West Forest have received instruction in CPR under the guidelines provided by the America Heart Association.
