Forest County Straight Shooters 4-H Club to Hold Meeting on March 18

TIONESTA, Pa. (EYT) — A new group, the Forest County Straight Shooters 4-H club, will be holding its first meeting on Sunday, March 18.

The event begins at 1:00 p.m. at the Penn State Extension office in Tionesta.

It is open to youth between the ages of eight to 18 and will focus on the use of air rifles and 22’s.

The club teaches youth the highest standards of safety, sportsmanship, and ethical behavior in the use of firearms.

The leaders of the club are trained in accordance with NRA training and time requirements. In addition, they have completed the mandatory screening process for Pennsylvania and the requirements specified by the Pennsylvania State University.

The Penn State Extension office is located at 668 Elm Street, Tionesta, Pa.
