FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — A former Crawford County Jail warden pleaded guilty to a charge of corruption of minors in connection to an incident in which he solicited a teenage boy to have sex with him.

According to court documents, 54-year-old Timmy Lee Lewis, oF Meadville, pleaded guilty to a first-degree misdemeanor charge of Corruption of Minors.

The following charges were dismissed as a result of the plea agreement:

– Promoting Prostitution, Misdemeanor 2
– Indecent Exposure, Misdemeanor 2
– Open Lewdness, Misdemeanor 3

Lewis remains free on $10,000.00 unsecured bail awaiting sentencing.

A pre-sentence investigation was ordered on September 25.

Details of the Case:

A release issued by the state police indicates that in November of 2013, Lewis sent several communications to a 17-year-old Venango County male, requesting to meet him for sex.

Lewis also offered the victim money in exchange for sex. The victim did not accept Lewis’ propositions, according to police.

Additionally, Lewis was accused of exposing himself to the victim.

The case was prosecuted by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General’s office.

Crawford County Moose Lodge Theft Case

The Office of Attorney General prosecuted Lewis and his wife last year for stealing approximately $129,000.00 from Moose Lodge No. 2505 in East Fairfield Township, Crawford County.

Lewis and his wife served in administrative roles at the lodge. The money was stolen during a time when the couple incurred significant gambling losses.

Lewis pleaded guilty to a second-degree felony charge of theft by unlawful taking. He was sentenced to nine to 23 months in prison. He is currently on parole for that offense.

Lewis was warden of the Crawford County jail at the time of his arrest for the theft charges.

He resigned from the warden’s position on April 13, 2016.
