MERCER COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — According to sources, a former resident of Shenango Valley has been charged with murder.

According to a Columbia, South Carolina’s police department, 42-year-old Lawrence A. Stevens and another man are charged in the killing of Richard Kinsey Jr. whose body was found in a pond at South East Park on April 1, 2012; Kinsey died from blunt force trauma to the head and manual strangulation.

A few months ago Stevens moved to South Carolina with former Sharon resident Rachel Marie Goodnight whose body was found on April 12, 2012.
