Four Juveniles Face Vandalism Charges After Admitting to Spray Painting Street Signs in Sugarcreek

SUGARCREEK, Pa. (EYT) — Four juveniles are facing criminal mischief and related charges stemming from incidents that occurred in Sugarcreek Borough on Saturday night.

Sugarcreek Borough Police investigated a series of spray painting incidents in which several items were vandalized during the night of July 8, 2017.

Four juvenile suspects have been identified as the culprits and have admitted to spray painting the items.

Items painted include street signs, address signs, driveways, the road surface, the train bridge, and the back window of a minivan.

Charges will be filed through the Venango County Juvenile Court.

Charges include the following:

  • Criminal Mischief, Misdemeanor 3
  • Loitering and Prowling a Night, Misdemeanor 3
  • Disorderly Conduct, Misdemeanor 3

According to police, other charges may be included if other evidence is discovered during the investigation.
