TIONESTA, Pa. (EYT) — Four Forest County residents were rushed to the hospital following a traffic collision Friday morning in Tionesta Township, Forest County.

Marienville-based State Police said the accident happened around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Route 62 and State Route 36 when William R. Wallace, 81, of Tionesta, arrived at a stop sign and failed to yield to oncoming traffic.

Wallace’s 2013 Lexus ES-350 entered the intersection and was subsequently struck by a 2013 Dodge Caravan operated by Crystal A. Walker, 35, of Marienville.

Wallace and a passenger — Nancy A. Wallace, 81, also of Tionesta — suffered minor injuries and were transported to UPMC Northwest for treatment.

Walker and a passenger — Guinevere L. Moore, 56, of Tionesta — were also sent to UPMC Northwest for treatment of minor injuries.
