Frances Mary Flack, 86, of Summerville, spent her life loving and serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. On July 15, 2017 she went home to meet Him.

She was born in Liverpool England on January 19, 1931.

She married Wayne Flack and together they had eight children, Larry Flack (Robin), Paula Wangler, Greg Flack, Mike (Patty) Flack, Tim Flack, Nancy Marshall (Sam), Brenda Spangler (Joe), and Lisa Ross (Rick).

She loved children and always considered them a gift from God. She was blessed with eighteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition, Frances is also survived by a brother, Anthony Nickson (Betty) and a sister, Mary Cliff, both of England; several brothers-in-laws and sisters in-law; and a number of nieces and nephews- both here and abroad.

She was a faithful servant of God, who spent much time in prayer and reading her Bible. She enjoyed her family, teaching children, baking, knitting, taking walks, and sitting on her front porch. She marveled at the beauty of nature, including the clouds, rainbows, and sunsets; and was always quick to thank the Lord for His magnificence.

Everyone that knew her was touched in some way by her gentle spirit, her wisdom, her kindness, her smile, and the words she spoke to many, “Bless your heart”. It was the prayer of her heart that people would know Christ and grow in His grace and knowledge.

Our vault of memories is full of great sacrifice and love.

She had great faith at all times but showed the greatest faith in times of weakness.

Material things were not important, people were.

She believed in making the best of every situation and was motivated to do much with little. She believed firmly in grace and forgiveness. She led by example and spoke words of wisdom to all who listened.

Proceeding her in death are her parents, Clifford Henry Nickson and Mary Catherine Donaghy Nickson; four brothers, John Nickson, Paul Nickson, Peter Nickson and Jim Nickson; her sister, Betty Booth; and two sons-in-law, Bill Wangler and Roger Bish.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the First Church of God located at 201 Freedom Lane in Brookville, PA.

Interment will be at the Carrier Cemetery, Clover Twp., Jefferson County.
