Franklin beat Central Tech 31-22 in the Class AAA quarterfinals Saturday at McDowell High School.

The Knights (6-5) move on to the semifinals where they will play Conneaut (11-0) next Friday or Saturday at a site and time to be determined.

Conneaut beat Erie East 56-6 Saturday at Bender Field in Meadville.
