ERIE, Pa. (EYT) — The Franklin boys’ basketball team will face Mercyhurst Prep in the District 10 Class 3A basketball quarterfinals at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, at the Hagerty Events Center (former Prep-Villa Center) in Erie, Pa.
The Knights (11-12) advanced to the quarterfinals with an 80-52 win over winless Iroquois in the opening round Friday night. Mercyhurst Prep (18-4) had a bye into the quarterfinals. The winner will play the winner of the Sharon/Girard game February 26 at a site, time and location to be announced.
Friday night there will also be a pair of District 10 Class 4A quarterfinal games played at Oil City High School.
Grove City and Warren will tip-off at 6:00 p.m. followed by Titusville at George Junior Republic at 7:30 p.m.
