FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — The MEGA Sports Camp at Galloway Church in Franklin was another huge success this summer.

According to event organizer Wendy McGoughlin, “Supporting Mustard Seed Missions — the 130 kids who attended, on average each night — brought in enough money to purchase 42 beds for local area children.”

“The evenings were filled with sports training, devotions, snacks, and worship as we learned how to conquer the day by practicing with purpose, listening to leaders, remembering to recharge, competing with courage, and skipping the shortcuts,” McGoughlin added.

The week culminated in a Free Family Celebration.

Rain did not prevent their fearless leaders, Children’s Director Colleen Haynes, Pastor Roy Gearhart, and Mike Cable of Mustard Seed Missions, from being covered in slime, pictured above.
