Franklin Grad Cardy is PSAC West Baseball Player of the Week

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The PSAC announced its first weekly baseball awards of the season and Gannon’s Nate Cardy, a Franklin graduate, gathered West Division Player of the Week honors.

Cardy recorded a 6-for-14 (.429) week, scoring two runs and driving in five RBIs. Cardy also had a double and a .500 on-base percentage. In game one against Limestone, Cardy went three-for-four, scoring a run and driving in two. The Golden Knights took the game, 8-3. In game two, Cardy doubled and plated two of the three GU runs. Gannon won, 3-0, and swept the Saints in a doubleheader for the first time since the two teams began playing in 2015 at the Limestone Classic. It’s Cardy’s first PSAC Player of the Week honor of his career.
