This weekly honor marks the second time this season that Cardy has earned the league accolade, previously winning the award back on March 11.

Cardy has been locked in at the plate all season long and last Friday’s doubleheader was no different. He opened the day against Clarion (3/29/19) with three walks and a run scored in game one and followed it up with a 3-for-3 effort at the plate in game two. Cardy smacked a grand slam, hit a double and walked once on his way to an eight RBI game in the nightcap.

Cardy leads the team with nine multi-hit games in 2019 while recording multiple RBI in seven contests. He is hitting .417 with seven home runs and 28 RBI in 22 games this year.
