FORT LEBOEUF AT FRANKLIN

The Knights (2-2) will look to win two in a row when they host 1-3 Fort LeBouef.

Franklin is coming off a win over DuBois last week while the Bison dropped a 35-7 decision to Meadville.

Fort LeBoeuf has had trouble scoring in its three losses totaling 10 points but did put up 37 in a 37-8 win over Warren in Week One.

The Bison are a ground-oriented team led by Ben Turi’s 224 yards and three touchdowns. Jack Rimpa (172 yards, 1 TD) and Tristin Harris (124 yards, 1 TD) have also cracked 100 yards on the season.

Max Endres is the quarterback for Fort LeBoeuf and he hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass this year while tossing four interceptions. He is 11 of 24 for 177 yards.

Rimpa and Adam Scarpino both have three catches for 45 yards to lead the Bison receiving corps.

Franklin will take to the air behind District 10’s all-time leading passer, Ian Haynes, who also leads the district in passing yards this season with 1,178 on 85 of 139 passing with 12 touchdowns and three picks. Haynes went over the 8,000-yard passing mark for his career last week.

The Knights also have District 10’s top two receivers by yards in Dalton Buckley (34 catches, 550 yards, 7 TDS) and Cade Adams (30 catches, 403 yards, 2 TDs).

Eli Stewart leads the Franklin ground game with 48 carries for 233 yards and a touchdown while also catching three scores and hauling down eight passes for 88 yards. But as a team, the Knights have rushed for just 281 yards on the season.

OIL CITY AT DUBOIS

Oil City will look to remain unbeaten when the Oilers put their 4-0 record on the line against winless DuBois (0-4).

Oil City is going to win on the ground having thrown just 19 passes all season while averaging just over 300 yards per game on the ground.

Cameron Russell leads the Oilers with 473 yards and four touchdowns on 63 carries, which ranks 11th in District 10, while Noah Petro adds 63 totes for 431 yards and nine touchdowns.

Most of DuBois’ offense goes through quarterback Alex Kovalyak (55-for-97, 844 yards, 6 TDs, 5 Ints.). His top receivers are Nick Dilullo (17-350, 4 TDs) and Zach Shilala (15-186, 1 TD).
