Franklin Man Accused of Retail Theft at Local Store

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin Police say around 7:50 a.m. on August 26, an incident of retail theft occurred along Buffalo Street in Franklin.

Police were dispatched to Shop N’ Save grocery store for a reported shoplifter on scene. Authorities spoke to store employees who allegedly observed Rodney A. Sutton, 27, of Franklin, conceal several items and walk out of the store with them, according to police.

Police say employees approached and detained Sutton until police arrived.

Sutton was arrested and given official notification not to return to the store.

No other information was provided.
