Franklin Parolee Arrested for Alleged Drug Possession, Paraphernalia

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin Police say around 11:28 p.m. on November 15, Venango County Probation and Parole were conducting a home visit at a residence on Orchard Street, in Franklin, Venango County.

Police say the home visit was conducted on Parolee – 23-year-old Randell W. Wilson, of Franklin.

Probation and Parole advised that they observed contraband and requested officers to respond to the residence, according to police.

Franklin Police Officers allegedly observed drugs in plain view inside the residence. Evidence was seized and a search warrant was approved through Honorable Judge Lowrey and was served on Sunday, November 16, around 2:26 a.m., police say.

The search warrant allegedly resulted in the discovery of additional drugs and drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Wilson was subsequently taken into custody by Probation and Parole and lodged in the Venango County Jail.

Charges will be filed on Wilson via a criminal complaint through District Court 18-3-03 for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
