SUGARCREEK, Pa. (EYT) –Sugarcreek Borough Police Department say a Franklin man has been arrested in connection to a theft that occurred at Twin Bridge on Sugarcreek Drive, in Sugarcreek Borough, Venango County.

According to police, 57-year-old Shawn Wierbinski, of Franklin, has been accused of stealing 100 pieces of guide rails, flange supports, and railings from the construction job site on Twin Bridge on Sugarcreek Drive.

Wierbinski was arraigned in front of Judge Lowrey.

Unable to post $20,000.00 bail, he was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

The theft occurred sometime between 5:00 p.m. on June 28 and 7:50 a.m. on June 29.

The total cost for replacement is $2,000.00.
