franklin-policeFRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – Emergency crews responded to an alleged DUI crash early this morning in Franklin, Venango County.

Franklin Police were dispatched for a report of a vehicle accident around 2:20 a.m. near the intersection of 3rd Street and Bully Hill Road.

The vehicle traveled off the roadway and “up an embankment,” according to police.

“Upon arrival, there was no one in the vehicle or in the immediate area of the vehicle,” said Franklin Police Lt. Anundson.

While officers were waiting for a tow truck to arrive, the driver of the vehicle – Jessie L. Newton of Franklin – returned to the scene driving a Bobcat skid-steer.
