Franklin Man Sentenced Up to Five Years for Selling Cocaine

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — On Friday, a Franklin man was sentenced up to five years in prison for selling cocaine.

Court documents indicate 21-year-old Cleo McKinney, Jr. was sentenced as follows:

– Delivery of Cocaine, 16 months to five years at Camp Hill Correctional Institution with a credit for 513 days served.

– Conspiracy/Delivery of Cocaine, 21 months to five years at Camp Hill to be served concurrently with the above sentence.

As a result of the guilty plea, the following offenses were dismissed:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver (one count)
– Criminal Use Of Communication Facility (three counts)
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered (two counts)
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia (two counts)

Details of the case:

According to the Franklin Police Department, a month-long drug investigation led to the arrest of McKinney on a felony arrest warrant on Wednesday, June 14. The arrest warrant was based on information contained in a criminal complaint filed by Franklin Police Officer Chris Wagner.

According to Officer Wagner, multiple controlled buys were made in May and June.

“These communications involving the distribution of controlled substances were identified to be at the direction and control of the defendant,” Officer Wagner reported in the complaint.

Other cases:

McKinney was previously convicted of an October 2014 assault, a February 2016 assault of a toddler, and a March 2016 burglary.

– Possession Controlled Substance, Contraband/Inmate, Felony 2
– Conspiracy — Criminal Use Of Communication Facility, Felony 3
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered
