According to a criminal complaint, Franklin-based State Police received a report on May 27 of a crash in the Tractor Supply parking lot.

The driver of the second vehicle in the crash called state police and said the other vehicle, a red 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix with Maryland plates, had left the scene with a woman driving and a man in the passenger seat.

The caller was concerned for the safety of a small child in the rear seat because the caller believed the driver and passenger were both drunk.

Trooper Shiley, of PSP Franklin, intercepted the Grand Prix and made a traffic stop at River Front Park in Franklin. He found a man, Tetreault, behind the wheel and smelled alcohol. Tetreault gave Trooper Shiley a Florida driver’s license. Additionally, Tetrault had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech.

After field sobriety tests, Tetreault was arrested for suspicion of DUI.

A woman in the car, 23-year-old Nicole Mota Henriques, of Franklin, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness September 25 and was fined $100.
