Franklin Man Who Pleaded Guilty to Disorderly Conduct to Be Sentenced on Monday

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – Sentencing for a Franklin man who pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct is set for Monday.

According to court documents, 36-year-oldKenneth Andrew Richey is scheduled to be sentenced by Senior Judge Kenneth G. J. Valasek on Monday, November 29, at 9:00 a.m. on the following charges:

– Disorderly Conduct Hazardous/Physical Offense, Misdemeanor 3

As a result of a plea deal, the following charges were dropped:

– Open Lewdness, Misdemeanor 3
– Public Drunkenness and Similar Misconduct, Summary
– Criminal Solicitation – Unlawful Use of An Audio or Video Device in Court, Misdemeanor 2

The charges stem from an incident that occurred in Franklin in late August.

Details of the case:

According to a criminal complaint, around 12:40 a.m. on Sunday, August 22, Franklin Police received a call reporting a white male, later identified as Kenneth Andrew Ritchey, standing along the side of a store while intoxicated and performing a lewd act in public.

The complaint states it was reported that Ritchey had his hand down his shorts performing a sex act on himself.

Police proceeded to the scene and reportedly located Ritchey as described by the caller, continuing the lewd behavior, the complaint indicates.

The charges were filed against Ritchey through Magisterial District Judge Matthew T. Kirtland’s office on August 24.
