Franklin Mom Allegedly Arrives Drunk at Day Care to Pick Up Kids

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Charges have been filed against a 34-year-old woman after she allegedly showed up at a Franklin area Child Development Center while intoxicated.

On August 21 at approximpately 5:39 p.m., Franklin Police received a report of an intoxicated female at the Child Development Center (CDC) on 11th Street.

According to police, the accused was identified as Emily Drelick, 34, of Franklin.

During the initial investigation, officers observed that Drelick was allegedly intoxicated to the point where she was a danger to herself and others.

Police say Drelick admitted to drinking prior to traveling to the CDC.

It was determined that Drelick was transported to the CDC by another female.

Drelick was arrested and charged with Summary Public Drunkenesss.

In a separate case, Drelick is facing DUI charges. Those charges were filed by Oil City Police in connection with a July 7 incident.
