FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin on Ice continues on Saturday, February 9, with a speed carving competition, events for kids, a chili cook-off, live entertainment, and more.

Get rid of those winter blahs and come to Fountain Park on Saturday as professional ice carving teams turn lifeless blocks of ice into beautiful works of art.

Franklin has become well-known for this yearly event which draws hundreds of spectators, so join them this year for a weekend of good food, live entertainment, a community fun!

– 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Ice Carving by DiMartino Ice Team, Fountain Park
– 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Chili Cook-Off, Franklin Chamber of Commerce, 1255 Liberty Street
– 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Speed Ice Carving Competition, Fountain Park
– 7:30 p.m, Celebration of Talent, Barrow-Civic Theatre, 1223 Liberty Street
