Franklin Police Arrest Woman After Fight

franklin-policeFRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — A Franklin woman was arrested after being involved in a fight with another woman Wednesday night.

According to a report from the Franklin Police Department, Patrolman Wheeling was dispatched to an apartment along Buffalo Street for a report of a fight in progress.

He and two other officers responded and heard yelling from an upstairs apartment along with a female voice yelling for help.

Ptlm. Wheeling went to the apartment and found two women on a bedroom floor with one trying to fight and the other restraining her from attacking.

As a result, Roxsand Tompkins, 34, was arrested and placed in the Venango County Jail on a 48-hour detainer due to being on state parole.

Police said Tompkins would be charged with simple assault.
