Franklin Residents Involved in Route 338 Crash

BEAVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Two Franklin residents were involved in a two-vehicle crash in Knox on Saturday.

Clarion-based State Police said the accident happened on August 25 around 7:35 p.m.

According to police, a 16-year-old male from Knox was traveling south on SR-338 in a 2006 Chevrolet Impala and attempting to turn left onto Huston Avenue when he struck a 2012 Toyota RAV4 that was traveling northbound on SR-338.

Police say the front of the teen’s Impala struck the front of a RAV4 operated by Caitlin M. Beach, 35, of Franklin.

The 16-year-old male, Beach, and a passenger in Beach’s vehicle — Mary C. Beach, 69, also of Franklin, escaped injuries.

All occupants were wearing safety belts.
