Senior Trevor Wood had another first in his long and successful Academic Games record. This was Wood’s first attempt at the World Events contest. This year’s theme was Greek and Roman mythology which is an area of interest for Wood. To prepare for the event he spent parts of his summer brushing up on his Heroes and Legends.

Seventh-grade student Carlito Motter sealed his invitation to Nationals with his top ten percent finish in the middle division of World Events. Motter added this finish to his win at LinguiSHTIKs. Motter will be competing at Nationals for the first time.

Sixth-grade student Kaizer Kadylak scored 17 out of 18 in the math game of Equations. Added to his 17 out of 18 at LinguiSHTIKs, Kadylak will be competing at his first Nationals as well.
