FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Trevor Wood ended his storied National Academic Games career for Franklin High School on Friday, April 27, finishing second overall in the Theme game while also being named one of this year’s outstanding seniors.

The honor makes Franklin among just a few schools in the area with two outstanding senior recipients, with Wood joining Michael Wisner, who received the recognition in 2015, in that category.

Alyssa Shick, an eighth-grader, also earned bragging rights for the next year, earning a rare perfect score in the game Propaganda and was named the Propaganda National’s Champion.  She has attended the National Tournament for five straight years and is known for her Propaganda and Presidents knowledge. Shick’s perfect score helped her team to seventh place in the middle division while also helping her Presidents team finish third overall.
