Franklin Teen Seriously Injured after Crashing Stolen Truck

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – State police in Franklin have released additional details surrounding a crash involving a stolen vehicle.

Franklin-based state police say around 2:25 a.m. yesterday, an F-250 truck was stolen from a residence along Mill Street in Cooperstown, Venango County.

Police have identified the driver of the stolen truck as 18-year-old Colin E. Agin of Franklin.

According to police, a pursuit began when Agin was observed operating the truck along Patchel Run Road, and a traffic stop was attempted.

The pursuit continued into the city of Franklin where the perpetrator struck the Vantage Health Care Building located at 13th and Liberty Streets, police say.

The perpetrator was flown to Hamot Medical Center in Erie for treatment of major injuries.

Charges are pending further investigation.
