Franklin Woman Accused of DUI on Route 8

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – Oil City Police say around 2:12 a.m. on October 7, a DUI arrest was made on State Route 8 at Center Street, in Oil City, Pa.

According to police, Michelle D. Thompson, 40, of Franklin, was arrested for alleged DUI following a traffic stop.

She was arraigned before Judge Fish and faces the following offenses:

– DUI: Gen Imp/Inc of Driving Safely – 1st Offense
– Driving Unregistered Vehicle
– Operating Vehicle W/O Valid Inspection

Unable to post $20,000.00 monetary bail, she was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled 8:30 a.m. on October 15 in front of Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish.
