Franklin Woman Arrested for Car Theft

handcuffs-crimeFRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – A Franklin woman has been arrested for car theft.

On Sunday, police received a report of stolen 1993, green Dodge sedan. It was last seen parked in the 200 block of Grant Street on Saturday.

The car was then found Sunday in the 200 block of 12th Street.

According to Franklin City Police, Brittany Patterson, 26, was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

– Theft By Unlawful Taking-Movable Property, Felony 3
– Unauthorized Use Motor/Other Vehicles, Misdemeanor 2
– Driving While Operator Privilege Suspended Or Revoked, Summary

Patterson was arraigned on Monday morning in front of District Magistrate Patrick Lowrey.

She is free on $5,000.00 unsecured bail.

Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., on Wednesday, March 29.
