Franklin Woman Arrested for Suspicion of DUI in Oil City

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) – According to the Oil City Police Department, a Franklin woman was arrested for suspicion of DUI on July 27 on Center Street in Oil City.

Police report at around 2:08 a.m. Michelle Thompson, of Franklin, was stopped for a traffic violation at the intersection of Center Street and State Route 8.

While conducting the traffic stop, police determined Thompson was allegedly drinking alcoholic beverages.

Following field sobriety testing, Thompson was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police say Thompson will be charged with DUI and other traffic offences pending blood alcohol results.
